Pattie began her working career as a registered nurse, concentrating in acute cardiac care and home care. Her focus in acute care was stabilizing patients as they moved forward in their recovery. The transition into home care came at a time of personal transition. A large part of her work in home care was teaching.

It has been said we often teach what we need to learn. Healing for patients happens on many levels, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Opening them up to taking responsibility for their healing became the underlying current of Pattie’s teaching with them. In hearing her own words, she went deeper and deeper into her own healing. Opening her heart to the many possibilities ahead of her, her work in animal communication emerged.

Pattie completed Carol Gurney’s HeartTalk Program® in 2005. Her communications are done live, with you (the person) on the telephone. The focus is to help you understand what is happening for your animal friend, what are their needs, and negotiate change (if applicable). Often our animals hold up a mirror for us, and openly and honestly are showing us a part of ourselves, our challenges and our beauty. We often want our animal friend to change, and forget to look at our part of the relationship. Healing happens in a relationship when the two are willing to look at change.

Animal communication allows the animal, and their person, to discover, observe, make change, and move forward in life together. We often find ourselves telling our animals what to do, assuming they will always be there for us, no matter what. Animal communication allows their voice to be heard, and they do have a lot to say!

Pattie’s hope is that the communication will plant a seed, in your mind and your heart, opening you to the depths of your relationship with your dear animal friend.
